ENZYMATIC:<br />

Enzyme preparations are applied over wounds<br />

<strong>in</strong>volv<strong>in</strong>g not more than 15% TBS area at any one<br />

time. The application is followed by wet dress<strong>in</strong>gs and<br />

reapplied eight hourly.<br />

Some of the enzymes that have been used are:<br />

Sutilans[Travase o<strong>in</strong>tment]<br />

Bromelans [Ananase]<br />

Collegenase [Santylo<strong>in</strong>tment]<br />

Papa<strong>in</strong>[Panafilo<strong>in</strong>tment]<br />

Fibr<strong>in</strong>olys<strong>in</strong>-desoxyribonuclease [Elase o<strong>in</strong>tment]<br />

Neomyc<strong>in</strong> palmitate –tryps<strong>in</strong>chymotryps<strong>in</strong> [Biozyme<br />
