IMMUNOPROPHYLAXIS:<br />
It consists of prophylaxis aga<strong>in</strong>st tetanus by<br />
antitetanicserum and tetanus toxoid.<br />
Active and passive vacc<strong>in</strong>es aga<strong>in</strong>st Pseudomonas<br />
<strong>in</strong>fections are very beneficial <strong>in</strong> the sort of facilities<br />
that we have got.<br />
Adm<strong>in</strong>istration of immunoglobul<strong>in</strong> as such is not<br />
proved to be able to control or prevent burn wound<br />
<strong>in</strong>fection. They are given <strong>in</strong>tramuscularly <strong>in</strong> a dose<br />
of 1 ml/kg body weight on 1 st , 3 rd and 5 th post burn<br />
day.
