According to Mary Kay Hoelscher, volunteer coordinator, these Willow Tree products are hot items with employees, patients, and families. St. Clare Hospital and Health Services, Baraboo Wis. All the handmade items in St. Clare’s Unique Boutique Gift Shop are created by auxiliary members, including this sweater with matching cap, pink dress, floral bag, and quilt. Toy helicopters lined up for takeoff. St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison, Wis. Happy Flowers are giant flowers made of brightly colored tissue paper. In 2009 St. Mary’s volunteers made more than 600 of them and netted about $4,000 to support patient needs.Volunteers have been making and selling the Happy Flowers for five decades at the hospital. St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City Loreal Gatewood, oncall representative-planning and marketing, models a Brighton trio — necklace, earrings, and bracelet. Brighton is a top seller in Odilia’s Gifts at St. Anthony Hospital. 22
