Today in worship
This morning, Dr. Marnie Crumpler will preach at 8:45, 10:00 and 11:15 a.m. as we
continue our sermon series “Psalm 23: The Soul of Summer”. The scripture for today’s
sermon “Contentment” is Matthew 6:25-34.
In the 11:15 service, we will be commissioning three members going on mission trips.
Virginia Dilkes and Margaret Robbins depart for China on June 23rd to assist The
Outreach Foundation with their English Exchange Program. Caroline Ryan departs
on July 7th to lead teacher training workshops with the Presbyterian Education Board
in Pakistan.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – NEXT SUNDAY, JUNE 20th
The Session has called a congregational meeting immediately following the 8:45 a.m.
service on June 20, 2010 for the purpose of electing the class of 2013 Elders and for
the purpose of receiving the 2009 Annual Report.

On June 20 the 11:15 “Amazing Collection”
Bible Study Class continues their survey
of The Bible in the New Testament. Come
join us as we study MATTHEW (June 20,
27), MARK (July 11, 18), LUKE (July 25 and
Aug. 1), JOHN (Aug 8, 15) and ACTS (Aug
22, 29). The first Sunday of a two-week
class cycle is introduced with an instructional
DVD and a section in our workbook. This
introduction is the foundation for five short
home study lessons during the week.
The second class is a casual, interactive
discussion and review of the home study.
We enjoy this format and hope you will, too.

Acolytes
Children currently in grades 2–5 are invited
to serve as acolytes. Acolytes lead in our
worship services by lighting the candles at
the beginning of the service and carrying
the light out of the sanctuary at the end
of the service. If your family is interested
in serving in this way, please e-mail your
child’s name and grade to kpietkiewicz@
peachtreepres.org. Please also indicate
which worship service your family regularly
attends – 8:45, 10:00, or 11:15. Within
the next few weeks, you will be included
in an informational meeting and training.

Camp S.O.S. Family
New this summer — Families with rising
1st - 4th graders, join us for camp as we
explore how God has created each family
special to honor Him by serving each other,
our community and the world. We’ll begin
with dinner together on Friday evening.
Included in camp are service experiences
with Peachtree’s community partners.
One or more children with one or more
parents constitute a family. Two sessions are
offered: July 30-31 or August 20-21, 2010.
Each camp is Friday, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m., and
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.. Cost is
$75 per family. Registration is limited. For

1. Donate to the Buckhead Christian Ministry Food Drive
Our annual Food Drive to benefit the food pantry at BCM will continue
through the end of June. You may drop off food items at any time
convenient for you. Bins are located by the Gym, Welcome Center and
by the Main Building rear elevators. All items need to be in small sizes
that can be hand-carried by recipients. Sample items include: canned
vegetables and fruit, pasta, instant potatoes, cold cereal, instant oatmeal,
flour, sugar, paper towels, toiletries and baby supplies such as formula,
