In Latin America, Amper has been awarded major contracts in Argentina, Brazil,
Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Venezuela, among others.
In Brazil, Amper has been chosen by Telebras, in a contract with a value greater than
24 Million Euros, to integration solutions for the IP network within the National
Broadband Plan promoted by the Government, which is to reach more than 3,000 cities
throughout the country. Also, in this country, contracts have been secured with
Telefonica, Petrobras, Globosat, TV Globo, the National Steel Company and the
Regional Electoral Courts.
In Ecuador, the National Telecommunication Corporation has commissioned Amper
with expanding its national IP / MPLS backbone in a contract with a value greater than
17 Million Euros for the mass access to quality Internet service for corporate and
government clients, within the key initiatives for the revitalization and transformation of
the Ecuadorian economy.
In Mexico, Comtelsat has awarded its network infrastructure project to Amper in a
contract with a value greater than 13 Million Euros
and others contracts worth noting in Latin America are the contracts signed in
Venezuela with Banco Mercantil and Banesco Banco Universal, in Argentina con
Standard Bank and Supercanal, in Colombia with Ecopetrol, Colpatria Red Multibanca,
and the Foster Wheeler Corporation and in Panama with the HSBC Bank.
Unified Communications and Collaboration
Telefónica has awarded Amper contracts in Spain, for the expansion of the Ibercom IP
network of Prosegur and of the General Treasury of Social Security.
Data Processing Centres
Amper has been commissioned by Banco Santander for the remodelling of the
intelligent structured cabling, the renovation of booths and monitoring the use of its new
Data Processing Centre of Cantabria in Spain.
In Brazil and Venezuela, contracts for the implementation and updating of the Data
Processing Centres with Telefonica, Prodabel and Banco Provincial have also been
awarded.
Digital Home
Telefónica has made Amper its reference supplier of WiFi routers and BHS gateways
with 11n technology for its multimedia Trio offer of home IPTV when it awarded Amper
the contracts to supply these elements in bulk for Spain, Chile and Peru.
Also, for Telefónica in Brazil, Chile, Peru and Venezuela, Amper has supplied
equipment for the reception and integration of DTH (Direct To Home) satellite TV.
Vietnam has also been the destination of this DTH television equipment.
Mobile Communications
Amper has won contracts in Spain to update the mobile networks of Telefonica and
Vodafone.
In Spain and Latin America, Telefonica signed a contract with Amper to provide the 3G
fixed wireless access terminals for the integration of the mobile and fixed
communications services, and to be the global supplier of satellite TV receivers with
SD resolution.
Next Generation Networks
In Spain, Amper was selected by Iberdrola for the implementation and modernization of
the communications system of 40 dams of its facilities.
