3. Configure the emulated controller IP address and Gateway address from the
Connected Interface tab on the Protocol Interfaces window. Use the IP address
of the OpenFlow switch if you have only one switch. For Of Channel, ensure that
ARP is resolved. You do not have to configure anything on host port.

4. Define the port role by selecting the role from the Port Role list on the Ports tab on
the OpenFlow window. You can select any of the following port roles:
a. Control: for Controller port
b. Traffic: for host ports
