printing in place as the attached adhesive layer is removed.

Advanced Capabilities
A flexographic system prints directly on the backings of printable tapes,
using water-based or UV inks. A proprietary process prevents the transfer of ink
from backing materials to the attached adhesives as the tape is unrolled.

A variety of information can be printed on tape backings in both letter and numerical form,
and in multiple colors. Printed tape is then provided in slit rolls converted to custom specifications.
Rolls can be dispensed with tape dispensers, reducing associated labor costs.

Q) Do your components require printed information
Fabrico’s printed tapes are often wrapped around wires
or coils in electrical systems. Printed tape can be used
to identify a component, as well as provide insulation,
protection, and/or hold the component in place.
It can also provide a directional indication or color coding,
as well as other types of information relevant
to an application.
Q) Do you need other services for your printed tape
Fabrico also offers a wide variety of related converting
services. Before printing, for example, log rolls of tape
can be cut to any size required by customers.
Q) What type of adhesive is on your tape
Fabrico prints on tapes with acrylic adhesives, which
provide good adhesion to the back side of the tape
but also release from the tape without removing ink
from the backing or leaving a residue that obscures
the printing.
Q) What material are you printing
Fabrico prints on common backing materials such as
polyester and polyethylene. These materials bond well
with printing inks and provide a smooth surface for high
print quality.
