During this one hour time "frame," each player will enjoy<br />

<strong>the</strong> friendly indoor atmosphere of Willowbrook Lanes<br />

(located on Plainfield Road, east of Rt. 83). Bumper bowling<br />

gives kids an opportunity to be successful at bowling<br />

without <strong>the</strong> ol' gutter ball. Rental shoes are included in <strong>the</strong><br />

fee. Participants are asked to bring <strong>the</strong>ir appetite for a pizza<br />

Classes meet in <strong>the</strong> gymnasium<br />

balcony at Hinsdale South HIgh<br />

School. Class is designed for those<br />

who have had several sessions of<br />

golf instruction and who are<br />

beginning to learn <strong>the</strong> techniques<br />

used in golf. Proper swing, stance,<br />

purpose of each club, and golf etiquette<br />

will be taught. All clubs are<br />

covered including <strong>the</strong> sand wedge<br />

& putter. Bring a 9 iron to <strong>the</strong> 1st<br />

class. Those who have completed<br />

Junior Golf Lessons are eligible.<br />

The final class will be a round of<br />

golf at Twin Lakes Golf Course in<br />

Westmont, which is included in<br />

Learn <strong>the</strong> basic fundamentals, rules, and game strategies of<br />

Badminton from one of <strong>the</strong> areas best players, Carissa<br />

Niemann. Participants also play matches and weekly tournaments.<br />

Dog Obedience Training<br />

Teens and Adults<br />

8 week session begins September 10<br />

7:00 – 7:45pm<br />

Fee $125<br />

Puppies/dogs 10 weeks and up can benefit from this basic<br />

training course. Classes teach dog and owner <strong>the</strong> basics of<br />

control through positive reinforcement. Some control exercises<br />

covered are: heel (controlled walk), stay, come, down,<br />

off leash walking. Topics discussed include chewing, barking,<br />

jumping, biting and housebreaking. Advanced control<br />

exercises will be covered with those dogs having some training<br />

experience. All dogs must be current on shots. First class<br />

is without your dog. Bring a collar, leash, treats and a plastic<br />

bag. Extremely aggressive dogs may be asked to leave <strong>the</strong><br />

program at instructor’s discretion. BR WB<br />
