During this one hour time "frame," each player will enjoy
the friendly indoor atmosphere of Willowbrook Lanes
(located on Plainfield Road, east of Rt. 83). Bumper bowling
gives kids an opportunity to be successful at bowling
without the ol' gutter ball. Rental shoes are included in the
fee. Participants are asked to bring their appetite for a pizza
party on the final day. Register for bowling at Burr Ridge

Golf Lessons

Classes meet in the gymnasium
balcony at Hinsdale South HIgh
School. Class is designed for those
who have had several sessions of
golf instruction and who are
beginning to learn the techniques
used in golf. Proper swing, stance,
purpose of each club, and golf etiquette
will be taught. All clubs are
covered including the sand wedge
& putter. Bring a 9 iron to the 1st
class. Those who have completed
Junior Golf Lessons are eligible.
The final class will be a round of
golf at Twin Lakes Golf Course in
Westmont, which is included in
the class fee. BR, WB

Badminton

Learn the basic fundamentals, rules, and game strategies of
Badminton from one of the areas best players, Carissa
Niemann. Participants also play matches and weekly tournaments.

Dog Obedience Training
Teens and Adults
8 week session begins September 10
7:00 – 7:45pm
Fee $125
Puppies/dogs 10 weeks and up can benefit from this basic
training course. Classes teach dog and owner the basics of
control through positive reinforcement. Some control exercises
covered are: heel (controlled walk), stay, come, down,
off leash walking. Topics discussed include chewing, barking,
jumping, biting and housebreaking. Advanced control
exercises will be covered with those dogs having some training
experience. All dogs must be current on shots. First class
is without your dog. Bring a collar, leash, treats and a plastic
bag. Extremely aggressive dogs may be asked to leave the
program at instructor’s discretion. BR WB
