Highlights
It has been a very good year for BRPD students. We had two students occupy
the top two spots on the boys frosh/soph HSHS team. Number one player,
long time student, Roshen K, was 16-2, captain, conference winner, and
MVP of his team. His counterpart, Theja K, was the number two man and
performed admirably. He was 6-1 in conference play.
Ashish M, a four year player for HSHS, finished 19-3 despite playing only
seasonally this year. Ashish was voted most improved player on varsity.
Karan V was also on the HSHS team and won a sportsmanship award.
We gave a full summer scholarship to a disadvantaged youth trying for a
spot on her tennis team.
Sadly, we say goodbye to Jay S, off to college, after a 17 year relationship
with the family. Jay played 4 years at LTHS.

Private/Semi-Private Lessons
NO OF STUDENTS FEE PER HOUR SET OF 6 LESSONS

Lights are used for PM lessons. No-shows or cancellations
with less than 24 hours notice will be
charged. Call 630-479-7994 for cancellations
and for scheduling prior to payment. For lessons
involving more than one family, please present
only one check for the group. Must confirm
times with Joe before registering. Lessons finish
by October 10. Please furnish all dates at the first
class if possible.
High School Programs
Over the years the BRPD has had many students
that have gone on to high school/college teams.
We have worked with students representing
schools such as Hinsdale South, Hinsdale
Central, Lyons Township and others. We have
had students who were national champs, state
qualifiers, Conference champs/finalists, MVPs
and MIPs. High school players should consult
your team coach regarding IHSA/team rules. Call

The Park District has a tennis hotline. Please leave

Court Usage: Burr Ridge Park District has six
tennis courts: two at Stevens Park, two lighted
courts at Woods Pool, and two lighted courts at
Harvester Park. Courts are available on the hour
and ½ hour when demand arises. Rules are posted
on-site. Please check the map on the back
page of the brochure for addresses and a map to
all court locations.
Make-Up Lessons: Classes of a half hour or
more will be rescheduled when inclement
weather arises if possible depending on seasonal
weather.
