GENERAL RULES:
1. Entry deadline is August 16, 2013. All entries
to be judged are to be entered on entry
blank and on file at the fair office.
NOTE: Entries should be made in proper
age/ability category. Only one category can
be entered. (ex. adult, senior citizen)
2. Entry fee is 25 cents ($.25) per entry.
3. All entries will be accepted Monday, Sept. 2,
2013 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m. No entries will be accepted after
4:00 p.m.
4. No item may be exhibited for more than two
years. Rosette winners are not eligible to be exhibited
again.
5. All entries are made at the owner’s risk and
the Hardin County Agricultural Society will not
be responsible for any loss.
6. All entries are to be the work of the person
making the entry.
7. All entries must be finished and dry to
the touch.
8. Exhibitors allowed (2) entries per class.
9. The decision of the judges is final. If the
judge decides a class merits no blue ribbon, none
will be given.
10. Judging times will be posted.
11. Entries will be released Sunday, Sept. 8 at
7:00 p.m. NO ENTRIES WILL BE RELEASED
BEFORE THAT TIME.

Rules:
1. All pictures must be framed and HAVE A
WIRE HANGER FASTENED SECURELY TO THE
BACK. Tape is not a secure fastener.
2. No unframed item will be accepted, except
entries in the gallery wrap classes. Matting is not
framing.
3. All work in these classes for exhibit only
and can not be advertised for sale.
4. Paintings should not exceed 24” x 24”.
5. Read the general rules.
6. All entries will be accepted by Monday,
Sept. 2, 2013 between the hours of 10 a.m. and
4 p.m. No entries will be accepted after 4 p.m.
PROFESSIONAL
Anyone who teaches or works in a profession
as an artist.
OIL, ACRYLIC, ETC.: Any painting in which
there is an opaque treatment similar to a traditional
oil painting (no mixed media).
