8. No horses or ponies are allowed on the<br />

grounds except in the designated exercise<br />

area and only during the times posted.<br />

9. Only Participant, Parent or Advisor permitted<br />

to work on or with horse with in 30 days of the<br />

fair and until completion of the 4H Horse<br />

Show.<br />

10. No stallions permitted to show.<br />

11. The assignment of a member to a class or<br />

project is up to the discretion of the member’s<br />

adviser.<br />

12. In case of limited housing for horses and<br />

ponies at the fair, members will be restricted<br />

to housing one project at the fair. Members’<br />

additional junior fair entries may be “shipped<br />

in and shipped out” on show day without<br />

penalty.<br />

13. Sick horses will be sent home by order of a<br />

veterinarian and the superintendent.<br />

14. Superintendents have the right to divide<br />

large classes into smaller divisions, or combine<br />

smaller classes.<br />

15. Last year’s Horsemanship, Showmanship,<br />

English and Contestor Grand Champions are<br />

eligible to show for champion in the same division<br />

this year. (Must be shown n a grade<br />

class)<br />

16. Three refusal rule and time limit apply to<br />

trail classes.<br />

17. Judge has discretion to bring back more<br />

than 1st and 2nd place animals for championship<br />

classes.<br />

18. Champion and Reserve Champion Barrels<br />

and Poles will be based on best time in Championship<br />

Class.<br />

19. Exhibitors must select the class in which to<br />

receive their grade. Class 23, 24, 26 or 27<br />

20. Classes A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H – Place only<br />

(no grade and no premium)<br />
