Grade (Class 3 only - must be offspring of a<br />
sheep breeding project).<br />
NOTE: Superintendents reserve the right to<br />
withhold premium money from exhibitors<br />
showing dirty livestock or maintaining dirty<br />
pens. All Junior Fair Sheep exhibitors in<br />
building must clean pens and remove manure<br />
and bedding material from the buildings before<br />
leaving on Sunday. An amount equivalent<br />
to the members premiums will be deducted<br />
from Jr. Fair Livestock Sale checks of those<br />
exhibitors who do not comply.<br />
Any Exhibitor requiring the services of the<br />
Fair Veterinarian – A parent or guardian must<br />
be present at the exhibitor’s pen to authorize the<br />
treatment. All veterinary services must be paid<br />
for at the time of service. The Fair Board is not<br />
responsible for the payments to the veterinary<br />
services rendered to exhibitors.<br />
Class 1 - Ram lamb<br />
Class 2 - Ram, 1 year and under 2 years<br />
Champion and Reserve Champion Ram<br />
Supreme Ram Lamb (1st place ram lamb each<br />
breed eligible).<br />
Class 3 - Ewe lamb<br />
Class 4 - Ewe, 1 year and under 2 years<br />
Champion and Reserve Champion Ewe<br />
Supreme Ewe Lamb (1st place ewe lamb each<br />
breed eligible).<br />
Class 5 - Beginners Flock - 1 ram lamb and 2<br />
ewe lambs owned by the same exhibitor. All<br />
breeds shown together. Ribbons to 5 places.<br />
SHOWMANSHIP AND MARKET LAMB SHOW<br />
Wednesday, September 5, 6:00 P.M.<br />
SHOWMANSHIP - Must show your own project<br />
animals which show in Jr. Fair show today. See<br />
Rule 47 General Regulations.<br />
Senior - 15 years or older on day of show.<br />
Intermediate - 13-14 years on day of show.<br />
Junior - 11-12 years on day of show.<br />
Beginners - 10 years or younger on day of<br />
show.<br />
Senior winner eligible to participate in Showman<br />
of Showmen contest Saturday, Sept. 7 at<br />
8:00 P.M.<br />
The Junior Fair Market Lamb Shows are classified<br />
as terminal shows. These animals must go<br />
