catalogue from Koelnmesse, you can calculate the costs of the additional 

services you may use during your trade fair presentation and add 

them to the cost of renting an exhibition area. 

Important information: 

This catalogue provides information on the individual services offered 

and allows you to plan your trade fair presentation. Please only order

We activate your trade stand 

Once you have chosen the right stand, you will need the right infrastructure 

to put your company in its true light. We will provide 

you with all the technical services you need from a single source.

compressed air, or cleaning services and maintaining the security 

of your stand – we offer a broad spectrum of services tailored 

to your company`s individual needs. We also have the technical 

equipment to make your stand the centre of attention. 

Important information on technical services 

! 

– Deadline for placing orders for T.16 / T.17 / T.23 is twelve weeks before the trade fair begins. 

– Deadline for placing orders for T.02 / T.03 / T.19 is eight weeks before the trade fair begins. 

– Deadline for placing orders for T.01 / T.04 / T.06 / T.13 / T.14 / T.18 is four weeks before the trade fair begins. 

– Orders received for T.01 / T.02 / T.03 / T.16 / T.17 / T.23 after the deadline will incur a surcharge of 20%. 

– If you wish to insure the rental furniture and items, an additional fee of 3% of the rental cost will be charged. 

– If you wish to insure the rental items listed under T.15, an additional fee of 9% of the rental cost will be charged.

T.01 Electrical installation

We do the installing – so you can do business 

Our on-site professionals will take care of everything: our service 

personnel will install all the water, exhaust vent and compressed 

air supplies necessary for your stand. 


T.03 Hanging objects from the hall ceiling 

We help you get the hang of it 

We offer our exhibitors special suspension points for light and 

heavy loads to be suspended from the hall ceiling in order to 

realize an appropriate presentation of your products. 


T.04 Stand security 

We will watch out – so you can relax 

We offer the service of providing reliable, round-the-clock 

stand security. 


If you withdraw less than one week before the contract begins, 

you will be charged 80% of the full fee for stand security. 


T.05 Stand cleaning 

We provide the clean solution 

Our stand cleaning service will make sure that your stand looks 

impeccable per item and every morning. 

We have a variety of cleaning service options on offer: 

– cleaning before the opening of the fair 

– glass polishing 

– daily stand cleaning 

T.06 Waste disposal 

We help you make an immaculate impression 

Koelnmesse’s waste disposal service will keep your stand spicand-span 

– before, during and after the fair. Whether you need 

to dispose of glass, paper, foil, cans, wood or residual waste, we

We will create the right atmosphere 

Koelnmesse provides an extensive and exclusive selection of 

tableware for hire. You may have your articles delivered at the 

beginning and collected at the end of the fair, or have them 

delivered every day. If you choose the latter option, we will 

even provide a free washing-up service. 


T.14 Cable television and antenna connections/antenna systems 

We provide you with excellent reception 

We will provide a complete installation of cable TV and antenna 

connections. The basic connection price already includes installa-

T.16 Telecommunications and equipment 

Thanks to us, you will be easy available 

Together with specialists from NetCologne GmbH, we will take 

care of setting up connections for telephones and telephone 

systems, as well as other terminals. In addition, we will provide 

you with communication services ranging from itemised phone 

bills to voice memory. 


– Phone calls will be invoiced separately at a rate of 10 cents 

per time unit. 

T.17 Internet connections 

We connect you with the Internet – and with the world 

We will provide your trade fair stand with a high performance 

ADSL Internet connection – with a bandwidth of up to 6 MB/s, 

suitable for large amounts of data. You can also take advantage 

of our many additional services such as technical support or 

transparent Internet access. 


– Orders must be received no later than 30 days before the 

event begins (postmark). Late orders will incur an express 

surcharge of 20% of the rental fee. 

T.18 Forwarding services 

We take care of your logistics 

Our contract forwarding agents provide a range of services 

guaranteeing a smooth delivery and removal of all trade fair 

equipment. Depending on your requirements, you can book 

all services you need with us, ranging from movers to mobile 

cranes. Our contract forwarding agents are:

Our contract forwarding agents’ range of services: 

1. Completing all necessary forwarding services at the trade 

fair such as: 

– providing special vehicles 


Important Information: 

– An additional fee of 9% of the rental price is charged for 

insuring the rented items (all-risk insurance). 

– Installation of customer equipment will be invoiced at 

15 euros per 10 minutes. >> To the price list 

– Please note that any change in products after your initial 

order is subject to a fee. 

– Orders must be received no later than 30 days before the 

event begins. For orders that arrive later, there will be an 

express surcharge. 

– Forms that arrive late will be processed in the order they are 

received and will be invoiced with an express surcharge of

– Assembly and service fees will be invoiced separately. 

– Freephone, free service number, access to T-Online and AOL 

will be billed at the rate of 1 cent per minute. 

– If a cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to the start 

of the event, the full provision fee will be invoiced.

T.20 Event technology 

We make sure your show is perfect 

Grab your visitors’ attention with everything from pendant 

lights and stand or exhibit lighting, to logo projection or moving 

lights. Fees for mounting and dismantling lighting fixtures 

depend on the requirements for your stand. 

Here are some of the services we can offer you:

T.21 Plant hire and sales 

Our green fingers will enhance your success 

A total of seven different types of plants offer plenty of opportunities 

to realise your decorating ideas and requirements. 

Important: Any orders that are cancelled five days before the 

start of the fair will be charged at the full amount. 


T.22 Impregnation 

We have a burning passion for your safety 

In order to keep your stand completely safe, Koelnmesse can 

prepare your materials with a special fire-retardant impregnation 

upon request. 

T.23 Fire protection 

We will make sure your stand stays safe 

Koelnmesse offers heat detectors, fire extinguishers 

(DIN approved) and sprinkler tests for your use. 


T.24 Parking permits for trucks/containers/trailers 

We will make sure you are conveniently close to your stand

Daily stand cleaning service during the event 

The daily stand cleaning (depending on the service ordered) starts on the evening of the first day 

of the trade fair and includes the following services: dusting the floor and furnishing, emptying waste 

bins, ashtray and wastepaper baskets. Waste is only emptied into refuse bags ordered in advance 

from the service partner of Koelnmesse. At the time of cleaning the ordered refuse bags must be 

made available for the service team. Refuse bags and other disposal containers can be ordered in 

the online shop at T.06 Waste Disposal. Exhibits are excluded from the daily stand cleaning service, 

unless agreed otherwise. A surcharge of 25% is payable for the wet cleaning of hard floor surfaces.

Sound systems 

Whether you require background music, promotion or evening events at your booth, we offer 

high-quality sound systems for the most diverse of uses. We’ll provide advice and support 

regarding the positioning of loudspeakers and the use of all available microphones. Furthermore, 

we will also be able to provide a vast range of mixing desks, players and other peripheral 

equipment in order to best meet your requirements, with or without our technical staff. 

Lighting 

We are able to provide a range of services, such as providing floodlights and spotlights or 

illuminating a booth or exhibition to your requirements, and can even provide moving lights 

for logo projection. We are equipped with an ample assortment of tungsten and daylight spotlights 

and floodlights, as well as various multifuctional models including often required truss constructions. 

If requested, our experienced lighting designers will create a lighting concept for your booth 

in order to meet your specific requirements. 

Video 

For the visualisation of content and the design of exhibition booths, video equipment is essential.
