Wisotronic dialog 1-Channel Central Control Unit EWFS ® Depending on the position where your Wisotronic has been mounted, the 8.2 Internal temperature offset temperature display of the Wisotronic may differ from a room thermometer mounted at a different position. Example: A room thermometer displays 24°C, but your Wisotronic displays 26°C. You can compensate this by setting an offset value amounting to the temperature difference, i.e. 2°C, at the Wisotronic. TIP Do not mount the Wisotronic in a position where influence from heat sources is to be expected (sun irradiation, radiators). This avoids faulty measurements! Proceed as follows in order to change the setting: ■ Change to the service settings menu as described above. The following display appears: Product { } ■ Turn the function dial until the following display appears: System settings { } ■ Select this menu item (button {). The following display appears: System control type Drive with MCU — + | } ■ Turn the function dial until the following display appears: Integr. temp sensor offset 2° C — + | } ■ Change the settings by using the buttons — + (enter 2°C for this example) and then press the button | (save) If you want to exit the menu without saving the changes, press the }button twice consecutively. This completes the process. 96 We reserve the right to carry out improvements 932806A0•816757•7974k0•08.10.2004
Wisotronic dialog 1-Channel Central Control Unit EWFS ® If the "Wind" sensor or its connecting cable is damaged, the Wisotronic cannot 8.3 Duration of the wind sensor test evaluate wind measured values and the wind monitoring function does not function. In order to exclude damage to your sunblind in case of such a defect, you can activate the wind sensor test. If the Wisotronic does not receive a signal from the "Wind" sensor within a period which can be set (1 to 99 hours), it is assumed that the sensor is defective. The sunblind is moved up at those channels at which the wind monitoring function and the wind sensor test are activated. The following display is shown on the Wisotronic: H Alert Wind sensor T During this display the comfort functions are not activated. The local operating points do not have any function either. Take into account that sunblinds are no longer moved automatically during your absence (holiday, weekend, etc.). The setting range is from 1 - 99 hours. If a wind sensor test is not desired, you can also set the value "0" (---) here. The wind sensor test has to be reset manually. The procedure is described in Section 7.4. Proceed as follows in order to change the setting: ■ Change to the service settings menu as described above. The following display appears: Product { } ■ Turn the function dial until the following display appears: System settings { } ■ Select this menu item (button {). The following display appears: System control type Drive with MCU — + | } ■ Turn the function dial until the following display appears: Duration Wind sensor test 99 hours — + | } ■ Change the settings by using the buttons — + and then press the button | (save) If you want to exit the menu without saving the changes, press the }button twice consecutively.
