Wisotronic dialog 1-Channel Central Control Unit EWFS ® In addition to the hierarchic warnings described above we use the following symbols: TIP This is used to mark text sections which contain additional explanations, information or hints. ■ This sign identifies - Activities which you must carry out, or - Instructions which must be observed. 2.1 Usage to the intended purpose ATTENTION The control system allows the connection of a conventional sun protection drive with a single-phase a.c. motor. Alternatively several sun protection drives can be connected together via motor control units. The approval of the manufacturer has to be obtained if the device is to be used to a purpose different to that described here. Usage which is not to the intended purpose can result in damage to the user or third parties as well as damage to the device itself, the connected devices or to the moving mechanical parts of the complete system. ■ Therefore always use our product to the intended purpose only! 2.2 Target group These instructions are intended for all those persons who operate the device. If you require additional information, please contact your specialist dealer. Operation by persons who are not sufficiently qualified and informed can cause severe damage to the system or even damage to persons! ATTENTION ■ Mounting and commissioning may therefore only be carried out by correspondingly trained specialists! This personnel must be able to recognize dangers which can be caused by the mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment! You must therefore observe 2.3 General safety instructions the following safety instructions: An automatically controlled mechanism can start moving unexpectedly! ATTENTION ■ ■ Therefore never place any objects in the area of movement of an automatically controlled mechanism! If measuring or test work has to be carried out on the active system, ensure that existing accident prevention regulations are observed under all circumstances. CAUTION An automatically controlled sunblind (for example roller shutters at balcony doors) can move downwards automatically and lock you out! If the Wisotronic controls such sunblinds via an automatic system, you should "play it safe" and de-activate these temporarily when you leave the house! CAUTION The complete system cannot function if the power fails. Therefore move your sunblind to a safe position in time if a storm is imminent! Children must not play with this product. Remote control units of all types must not fall into the hands of children!
