The following figure illustrates the setting of the slat angle:
Positive value: Slats are turned outwards
Negative value: Slats are turned inwards
Setting 0°: The slats remain in a horizontal position

It is obvious that a drive motor requires a certain time when turning the slat until
(as in our simple example) the slats have been turned from the position "+80°" to
the position "-80°". In addition this turn time differs for various product types. For
example, an internal venetian blind requires approximately 0.5 seconds, whereas
this procedure can also take 1.6 seconds for an outside venetian blind, type
E80A6. If this turn time is known, you only have to store it once in your
Wisotronic together with the minimum and maximum possible turning angle.
Afterwards the turning angles can be specified by simply entering angle degrees.
Time-consuming determining of turn times and experimenting are superfluous.
The following table shows the most common product types and their turn times/
turning angles (only WAREMA products are listed here. If you want to control
products of other manufacturers, please contact the respective manufacturer).

If, for example, you have mounted external venetian blinds of the type E80A6,
you have to set a value of 1.6 seconds for the turn time, a value of +80° for the
maximum turning angle and -80° for the minimum turning angle.

Minor adjustments may be necessary depending on the
package weight and motor type.
