Control Unit EWFS ® The limit "OFF" specifies the temperature at which the sun control is to be
disabled. Example: On a cold clear winter day you want the sun to first heat up
your conservatory before the sun protection becomes active. After all, the sun is
the most inexpensive heating source. However, if the sun control is activated at
the same time, this could move the sun protection down before your ideal
temperature has been reached. You can therefore program the control system so
that the sun control is not activated until a certain inside temperature has been
reached. The setting range is from –24°C to 74°C. If you do not want to evaluate
the limit "OFF", you can also set the value "0" (---) here. Proceed as follows in
order to change the setting value:
■ Change to the temperature control menu as described above. Turn the
function dial until the following display appears:
Temperature
limit OFF
22° C
— + | }
■ Change the setting values by using the buttons — + and then press the
button | (save). If you want to exit the menu without saving the changes,
press the } button twice consecutively. This completes the process.
Fig. 6-12:
The sun control in the "Enable sun" operating mode: The switch does not close
and the sun control is not enabled until the temperature is reached in the room.
When the room temperature drops below the limit "OFF" again, the switch opens
and the sun control is disabled, the sunblind moves up.
