TELECENTRIC SCAN LENS ...<br />

Telecentric scanning lenses are a special configuration in which the arrangement of optics<br />

is designed to focus down the beam such that it is always perpendicular to the flat field.<br />

This is accomplished by ensuring that the system 'stop' is located at the front focal point<br />

of the lens system. The 'stop' is located at the position where the beam is deflected from<br />

the axis. In a single-axis scanning system, this location is at the scanning mirror. For<br />

two-axis scanning, the stop is mid-way between the mirrors.<br />

Nd:YAG ZOOM-BEAM EXPANDER<br />

The wavelength Technology team is proud to<br />

present our new product. It is specially designed<br />

to cater <strong>for</strong> the various variable magnification of<br />

2x up to 8x. It consists of adjustable divergence.<br />

These beam expanders are primarily intended <strong>for</strong><br />

Nd:YAG lasers. They offer diffraction-limited<br />

per<strong>for</strong>mance at 1064nm wavelength.<br />

SCANNING MIRRORS ...<br />

<strong>Scan</strong>ning mirrors are used <strong>for</strong> high speed two-axis laser scanner system. The dimension of<br />

each mirror have been calculated to allow <strong>for</strong> scanning of a laser beam at up to 25 degrees<br />

off-axis. The mirrors have high reflectivity and so may be safe at high powers.<br />
