Safety comes first in everything we do. Mammoet
maintains a stringent, successful and highly
respected Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
Program (SHE-Q). It consists of standards that are
always upheld for the safety of all the people and
objects involved. This program is implemented
throughout our organization, backed up by
training and development programs, meetings,
campaigns, safety pocket books, and is managed
by dozens of safety officers all over the world. The
safety officers focus on safety and the impact of
our activities on the environment, but it is not their
responsibility alone: it is a main responsibility of

Mammoet owns the world’s largest fleet of heavy
lift cranes and specialized transport equipment.
It consists exclusively of new, modern equipment.
Mammoet has the appropriate solution for every
challenge, however large or difficult, including the
most powerful cranes in the world and a huge
variety of specialized rolling, floating, jacking, lifting
and sliding equipment. Mammoet can also offer
you sophisticated systems developed in-house
for specialist applications, such as push-up,
puller and ballast systems, a containerized winch
system for nuclear installations and a deep-water
recovery system for salvaging ships’ cargoes.
Thanks to our global presence and innovative
containerized concepts, all of this equipment can
be deployed quickly for use anywhere in the world.

Mammoet has clients and projects in all parts of

short and to stay abreast of the local markets,
Mammoet has operating companies throughout
Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East,
Asia and Australia. Global projects and global
logistics are handled centrally from our home
base in Schiedam, the Netherlands. Whenever

the total project chain, Mammoet can engineer,

and load-ins, the transport by road, rail and

the paperwork, logistics and subcontracting, and
participate in multidisciplinary teams to secure
overall planning and a smooth operation. As the

Petrochemical industry
Our operations in the petrochemical and chemical industries largely relate to maintenance work,
the replacement of plant modules, complete overhauls and the expansion or construction of
production sites. In close cooperation with our clients’ engineering departments, Mammoet shifts the
boundaries by providing high-capacity transport and lifting equipment. This enables clients to
design modules that can be moved and lifted more cost-effectively. Mammoet has developed a
unique plant turnaround concept based on the pre-engineering of all the lifting and transport
work. We also offer complete maintenance packages on the basis of permanent on-site presence,
long-term partnerships and fl exible contracts, with Mammoet acting as main contractor. For both
Mammoet and the client, minimizing down time, coping with space restrictions and maintaining
strict safety procedures are a matter of course.

Power sector
Mammoet has established a formidable reputation for itself in all parts of the power industry, from
fossil fuel and nuclear plants to facilities using renewable energy sources. In many cases the heavy
and oversized modules for these facilities need complex transport arrangements to reach their
destination, be it by road, rail or sea. This is a demanding job, so both suppliers and clients prefer
safe, end-to-end solutions for transport and on-site assembly. The ever stricter emission standards
often necessitate the modifi cation of existing power plants: heavy, diffi cult and precise work
that has to be carried out effi ciently to keep outages as brief as possible. A task ideally suited to
Mammoet, which has bundled its extensive knowledge and experience into a total service.

Offshore activities
Mammoet’s activities in the offshore industry include the accurate and safe implementation of
transport solutions by land and by water, load-ins and load-outs, and the assembly of extremely
large and heavy items. The services Mammoet provides seamlessly match the industry’s desire to
assemble oil and natural gas production platforms before their fi nal positioning at sea. Mammoet
offers a wide variety of specialized equipment, including the push-up system developed in-house,
to jack up complete platforms. Other key activities are sea fastening, ballasting and mooring
operations, weighing and jacking. Last but not least, Mammoet takes care of the supply of heavy
lift ships and rental cranes.

Civil
Experience of multimodal transport by road, rail and water, together with equipment for
lifting, skidding and jacking heavy loads ensure Mammoet’s position as a full-service provider
in the market for civil projects and infrastructure works. Mammoet crews manage all the cargo
handling from factory to foundation with a combination of teamwork, skill and state-of-the

Rental
Rental activities are part of Mammoet’s core business. We can offer clients additional on-site
flexibility and can support other contractors to improve scheduling and logistics. We support
numerous local projects, large and small, that mostly require versatile, smaller cranes. At large
construction sites Mammoet can provide a complete fleet of large and small cranes, transport
vehicles and additional equipment. Mammoet can also provide trained crews to operate the cranes
and transporters. Our in-house training programs for operators and riggers guarantee that the high
corporate safety and service standards remain in effect at all times.
