<strong>Planning</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Procurement</strong> <strong>Intern</strong><br />
<strong>Logistics</strong> Department - Warndon, Worcester<br />
The <strong>Logistics</strong> planning department is responsible for co-ordinating with a number of <strong>Bosch</strong><br />
Sites as well as planning production requirements onsite at Worcester. The procurement<br />
department is mainly responsible for scheduling component material for production <strong>and</strong><br />
spares usage.<br />
Your responsibilities:<br />
You will be responsible for some daily activities scheduling material from several suppliers in<br />
line with production dem<strong>and</strong>. Whilst carrying out this activity you will be required to work<br />
within strict inventory targets. You will also be responsible for several logistics projects within<br />
the planning <strong>and</strong> procurement departments where you will act as project co-coordinator<br />
ensuring implementation actions are achieved.<br />
Daily Scheduling of component <strong>and</strong> tradable product.<br />
Responsible for creating essential daily logistics reports<br />
Project coordinator for assigned planning <strong>and</strong> procurement activities<br />
Your profile:<br />
Studying for a degree in <strong>Logistics</strong> / Business discipline<br />
Computer literate with a good knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word,<br />
Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook<br />
Good attention to detail, decision making <strong>and</strong> problem solving skills<br />
Analytical approach <strong>and</strong> comfortable working with numbers<br />
Familiarity with supply chain principles<br />
Ability to communicate confidently with personnel from all levels of the business<br />
Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team<br />
Able to present themselves well when communicating with customers <strong>and</strong> suppliers<br />
Flexibility of approach towards working hours

partake in a work placement for a minimum of 6 months or up to 12 months as part of their<br />
