Committee Meeting 21 August 2012
During discussion, Members agreed that the proposed store of Unit 2 should be deleted to
reduce the amount of building bulk on the boundary.

Moved by Cr Bradley, seconded by Cr Pelczar
That a further clause be added to the motion as follows:-
(iii)
the proposed store of Unit 2 on the boundary being deleted.

COUNCIL DECISION:
(COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION)
Moved by Cr MacRae, seconded by Cr Bradley
That, in accordance with Part 4 of the Town of Cambridge Town Planning Scheme No.
1, Council APPROVES the application for two grouped dwellings submitted by Urban
and Rural Perspectives at Lot 496 (No. 326) Railway Parade, West Leederville, as
shown on the plans dated 11 May 2012, subject to the following conditions:-
(i)
(ii)
(iii)
the surface finish of boundary walls facing the adjoining property to the east to
being rendered, painted or face brickwork to the satisfaction of the Town;
the visual privacy screens for the balcony being designed to restrict views to the
neighbouring properties to the east and west in accordance with the acceptable
development provisions of part 6.8.1 ‘Visual Privacy’ of the Residential Design
Codes of Western Australia and to be installed prior to the occupation of the
dwelling.
