COUNCIL MINUTES TUESDAY 28 AUGUST 2012 COUNCIL DECISION: (COMMITTEE AND ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION) Moved by Cr Langer, seconded by Cr Walker That:- (i) (ii) the report by the Mayor relating to his attendance at the Enviro 2012 Conference and Exhibition be received; and the following recommendations contained in the Mayor's report be submitted to the appropriate Committee for consideration: (a) (b) supply of low cost kitchen recycling bins to properties; review of Green Waste Bin collections to include kitchen organics. COUNCIL MINUTES TUESDAY 28 AUGUST 2012 CR12.132 PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS - JULY 2012 PURPOSE OF REPORT: To confirm the payment of accounts in accordance with the Local Government Act (Financial Management) Regulations 1996. DETAILS: Regulation 13 of the Local Government (Financial Management) Regulations 1996 requires a list of accounts to be prepared and presented to Council. Below is a list of the cheques raised and Electronic Funds Transfers for the payment of accounts from the Municipal Account (and Trust Account where applicable). Included as an attachment to this report is a listing of all payments issued for the past month. POLICY/STATUTORY IMPLICATIONS: Payments are in accordance with Policy No. 3.2.3 “Council Bank Accounts and Payments”. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: Expenses incurred are charged to the appropriate items included in the annual budget. STRATEGIC DIRECTION: The presentation of details of accounts is consistent with the Town’s Strategic Plan key outcome area of capacity to deliver and its goal of open and transparent governance. COMMUNITY CONSULTATION: This matter has been assessed under the Community Consultation Matrix Consultation Level – Inform - To provide the public with balanced and objective information to assist them in understanding the problem, alternatives, and/or solutions.
