Prior to consideration of this item, Crs Bradley, Carr and Grinceri, in accordance with Section
5.65 of the Local Government Act 1995, declared a financial interest in this matter to the
extent that they own properties or were related to a person who owned properties on
Cambridge Street.
Crs Bradley, Carr and Grinceri subsequently left the meeting at 7.20 pm.
Moved by Cr Langer, seconded by Cr Pelczar
That in accordance with Section 5.68 of the Local Government Act 1995, Crs Bradley,
Carr and Grinceri be allowed to participate in the discussion and vote upon the matter
due to their interest being so trivial or insignificant as to be unlikely to influence the
Members conduct in relation to this matter.
Carried 6/0
Crs Bradley, Carr and Grinceri returned to the meeting at 7.22 pm.
COMMITTEE AND ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:

That:-

the report relating to the community feedback on the concept designs for
Cambridge "High" Street Streetscape be received;
the detail design of Stage 1 of Cambridge “High” Street commences;
the detail design to include a broken painted median instead of the raised
median in the concept design at Lesser Street to facilitate movements into and
out of Lesser Street;
bus stops near West Leederville Shopping Centre are detailed to be shown as
standing on the road and the situation monitored post construction;
suitable taper designs be included on Cambridge Street east of Holyrood/Kerr
Streets; and
once detail design is completed, tenders be called for construction.
During discussion, Members were advised that the PTA is not in favour of removing or
relocating the bus stops.
