6. APPLICATIONS FOR LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Cr Pelczar requested leave of absence from 1 October to 31 October 2012 inclusive.
Moved by Cr Bradley, seconded by Cr Langer
That in accordance with Clause 3.7 of the Standing Orders, approval be given for
Leave of Absence to be taken by Cr Pelczar from 1 to 31 October 2012 inclusive.

7. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES
Moved by Cr Pelczar, seconded by Cr Walker
That the Minutes of the Ordinary Meeting of the Council held on 24 July 2012 be
confirmed.

8. ANNOUNCEMENTS BY THE MAYOR WITHOUT DISCUSSION
Mayor Withers presented Cr Langer with an award from WALGA for his loyal and long
service to local government over 13 years.
9. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Prior to consideration of the following reports, members of the public present at the
meeting were reminded by the Mayor that they should not act immediately on anything
they hear at this meeting, without first seeking clarification of Council’s position. They
were advised to wait for written advice from the Council before taking any action on any
matter that they may have before the Council.
Recommendations contained in the Committee reports were adopted en bloc, with the
exception of the following items which were nominated for individual debate.
