8. Water Conservation
Water quality and efficiency initiatives in 2011 and 2012 included Waterwise Councils reendorsement,
achieving Milestone 4, Corporate, of the ICLEI Water Campaign and
becoming a signatory to Mounts Bay Water Quality Improvement Plan (WQIP) Memorandum
of Understanding.

COMMITTEE AND ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
Moved by Cr MacRae, seconded by Cr Bradley
That the sustainability information report be received.
During discussion, Members agreed that it would be a benefit for the Council to consider in
greater detail the sustainability programmes undertaken by the Town.

That a further clause be added to the motion as follows:
(ii)
the Administration undertake a reassessment of the Town's Sustainability and
Travel activities and present the results to the Council Forum.
