The HETTICH <strong>INCUBOT</strong> <strong>770</strong> is a completely automated Petri dish incubation platform.<br />
The Incubot <strong>770</strong> has the ability to work in a Stand-alone format or integrated to an<br />
existing track system. By utilizing features of a modern LIS, samples can be processed,<br />
incubated and transported for imaging and analysis automatically. In addition, laboratories<br />
can order a sample to be released from the Incubot and transported within the laboratory.<br />
This represents a true “Track and Trace” functionality for a complete audit trail.<br />
Another advantage over current systems is that the <strong>INCUBOT</strong> <strong>770</strong> has a true Random<br />
Access capability meaning that an individual Petri dish can be incubated and removed<br />
singly without having to remove a stack of dishes and search for the required dish.<br />
The inclusion of one or two Imaging Modules expands the functionality of the<br />
unit greatly. The Imaging module can be supplied with basic Petri Dish imaging<br />
software, or a user defined software packaging to expand the detection process.<br />
One example of this is the cooperation with Advanced BioImaging Systems. When<br />
integrated with the ABS imaging system*, the LX3000 is capable to Detect, Identify<br />
and Classify Food Borne Pathogens in Minutes. This offers unprecedented speed<br />
and accuracy in the detection of multiple food-borne pathogenic bacteria.<br />

Unlike current detection methods available, no reagents are required for detection and<br />
measurement, thus allowing for multiple culture detection within a single sample.<br />
