Universal compatibility in a

A major limiting factor in the use of self-etch bonding is
the incompatibility of most self-etch adhesives with selfand
dual-cured materials. ALL-BOND SE ®
is compatible
with light-, self- and dual-cured materials without the use
of any additional activators, freeing dentists who prefer the

Radiopaque resin layer for
radiograph visibility
Another advantage of the ALL-BOND SE ®
Liner is that it
is radiopaque, allowing the adhesive layer to be identified
when viewed on X-rays. The radiopacity outlines the
restoration and reduces the risk of misdiagnosing caries.

This Scanning Electron Microscope

SELF-ETCH SIMPLICITY
The following clinical case illustrates
the use of a self-etch adhesive system
for a patient wishing to replace an
amalgam restoration in the upper
left first molar. The treatment choice
was a direct composite restoration.
ALL-BOND SE ® was selected as the
bonding agent because it maintains a
secure seal to prevent microleakage
and thus help prevent post-operative
sensitivity while reducing chairtime.
1. Upper left first molar with
existing amalgam restoration.
2. Remove amalgam restoration
and isolate tooth with a rubber dam.
3. Mix ALL-BOND SE ® until
uniformly pink.

4. Place ALL-BOND SE ® on
enamel and dentin. Agitate and air
dry, then light cure for 10 seconds.
5. Place ALL-BOND SE ® Liner in
a very thin layer and light cure for
10 seconds.
6. Restoration following composite
