Recent growth in composite and amalgam restorations has increased the demand
for a wedge that adapts well within the interproximal space and helps restore the
tooth original anatomy. The concern about maintaining periodontal health and
good restoration adaptability after going through restorative procedures resulted

FLEXI WEDGE with its unique concave under surface, stiff main body and
resilient flanges, creates a more secure and anatomic interproximal contact to
avoid periodontal trauma. When placing FLEXI WEDGE into the interproximal
area the wedge will exert pressure on the teeth and not on the papilla, providing
greater tooth separation and a better interproximal seal. Furthermore, as other
plastic wedges have a tendency to back out after placement, FLEXI WEDGE has
a matte finish and directional retentive arms for more secure positioning of the
wedge within the interproximal area.
