COMPOSITE RESTORATIVES
ÆLITE LS Posterior
Low Shrinkage Hybrid Composite
Your posterior fillings should not leak or be sensitive after placement.
That’s why Bisco developed one of the lowest shrinking composites,
(1.4% to be exact), currently available.
BENEFITS Features & Benefits
Minimizes shrinkage Quick high strain gloss thereby surface minimizing saves chair the time risk of marginal leakage and
post-operative Prevents sensitivity microbial attack, stains and increases wear resistance
Superior handling Can last yields up to higher 5 years control anteriors for sculptability with minimal tackiness and pull back
Identifiable Reduces on radiographs the number of finishing products needed in the dental operatory
Exceptional strength and polishing luster
AELITE Composite Technique
1.The patient presented with a
defective amalgam restoration
and recurrent decay on the
mandibular right second bicuspid.
2.The “total-etch” technique was
used to minimize the potential of
microleakage and enhance bond
strength to dentin and enamel.
3. A single component adhesive
was applied with disposable
applicator for 10 seconds with
continuous motion.
4. A radiopaque self-curing flowable
composite resin was injected into
the proximal box of the mandibular
right second bicuspid with a Centrix
needle tube.
5. The cavity preparation was
filled incrementally, using an A 2-
PLS shaded hybrid composite
6. Light-cured for 15 seconds. 7. An initial enamel layer of A1-E
shade hybrid composite was
applied with an interproximal
instrument
8.Invaginated with an explorer
creating a developmental groove
while the material was still soft.
9. The final enamel layer was
smoothed with brush.
10. Completed restoration.
