NEW Pro-V TM Provisional Restorative System PRO-V is <strong>BISCO</strong>’s line of provisional restorative materials designed to address the differing requirements for creating or placing provisional restorations. The PRO-V Inlay/Onlay Kit offers a complete solution to create an inlay or onlay provisional. Immediate Dentin Sealing Technique* Using ALL-BOND 3 ® Immediate Dentin Sealing CLINICAL ADVANTAGES • PATIENT COMFORT – less sensitivity during provisionalization, limited need for anesthesia during final cementation, reduced post-op sensitivity 1. Thoroughly clean the preparation. Etch DENTIN with UNI-ETCH ® w/BAC for 5-10 seconds, rinse and leave moist. 2. Apply 1-2 coats of ALL- BOND 3 ® (Parts A & B mixed) to the preparation & air dry. Light cure for 10 seconds. 3. Apply 1 thin coat of ALL-BOND 3 ® Resin to the preparation. Light cure for 10 seconds. • MAXIMUM TOOTH STRUCTURE preservation – increased retention for short clinical crowns or tapered preps • SEPARATE CONDITIONING OF ENAMEL & DENTIN – wet bonding to dentin & dry bonding to enamel at final placement. • Eliminates the need for use of TEMPORARY CEMENTS 4. Block out undercuts with a flowable composite, such as ÆLITEFLO. 5. Redefine the preparation and re-bevel enamel margins. 6. Remove the oxygen inhibited layer with alcohol swab. Take the impression. Apply 1-2 coats of Pro-V Coat to the entire preparation EXCEPT 1mm from the cavo-surface margin and air dry for 10-15 seconds. 8. Create temporary restoration using PRO-V Fill or PRO-V Flo. Light cure for 10 seconds. 9. Apply BisCover LV, allow to dwell for 15 seconds then light cure for 30 seconds. *The IDS technique may be used with any of Bisco’s adhesives (ALL-BOND ® 2, ONE-STEP ® , ONE-STEP ® Plus or ALL-BOND SE ® ) Final Restoration Placement Technique Using ALL-BOND 3 ® 1. Remove provisional using a sharp instrument and clean the preparation. 2. Etch ENAMEL with UNI-ETCH ® w/BAC for 15 seconds, rinse and dry. 3. Apply 1-2 coats of ALL-BOND 3 ® (Parts A & B mixed) to the entire preparation & air dry. 4. Prepare the internal surface of the restoration as recommended by the lab. Apply 1-2 coats of ALL-BOND 3 ® A & B to the restoration & air dry. Light cure for 10 seconds. Proceed with cementation of the final restoration.
