IWF Fair 2008 –Atlanta USA
We have now really started up the activities after the summer holidays.
The first bigger activity was the IWF Fair in USA (International Woodworking
Fair), where Mr. Kaj Larsen and Mr. Adam West from Flex Trim
USA together with Mr. Allan Trans from Flex Trim Denmark had a great
fair with a lot of interesting contacts.
People showed their interest especially for the new FlexSander 100-100.
We had more than 150 visitors, who gave their contact information on
Flex Trim’s booth during these 4 days and we have now got more new,
interesting tasks to work on with.
Trä & Teknik 2008 –Wood industry Fair in Sweden
The week after the fair in USA the Swedish wood industry Fair, Trä &
Teknik 2008, took place. Here Mr. Bengt Almers from Flex Trim Sweden
and Mr. Flemming Linders from Flex Trim Denmark participated with our
booth. More than 100 people from different companies visited us on the
booth and gave us their contact information.
More of them were tipped off our present customers, which means that
we are an acknowledged supplier of high quality products and great service.

Coming fairs
In the coming month Flex Trim will be represented on:
• HOUT Fair in Rotterdam, Holland from 29/9-3/10 by our dealer
Klingelnberg Klauss.
• Lahti Fair, Finland from 15/10-18/10 by our dealer OLSA.
• SIBO Fair in Montreal, Canada from 23/10-25/10 by Amecci

Scandinavian.
• The Danish fair “Effektiv Produktion 08”in Frederica, Denmark from
7/10-10/10 by Flex Trim with our own booth.
This means that we are going into a very exciting month in October.
Marketing
New layout on pricelists in preparation
In the coming time we will work on new arrangements of our pricelists,
which means that the layout will be improved. The pricelists will also
show product descriptions, technical specifications and new product pictures.
In that way there will be worked out a document for each of our
machines. Page 1 is only with product information and can be used separately
as product sheet for your customers and the actual price list will be
on page 2.
In that way you can use the two pages either together or separately.
When the new pricelists are finished they will be sent out to you by e-
mail and of course they will also be to find on our partner portal on our
website.
Packaging
Another new thing you will see in the coming time is that our website
address has been added to our logo on all labels on our machines and on
the boxes that we use for packaging of our sanding materials.
In that way all end-users easily can find contact information, when they
need to contact you as a dealer, which is listed up on our website, when
they need to reorder, ask for service etc.
The Danish fair in October is Denmark’s new
process oriented industry fair, where people
from both metal- wood- and plastic industry are
meeting each other.

News in our organisation

From the 1 st of September Mr. Bo Østergaard from the sales department
is no longer working in Flex Trim A/S.
Bo was hired on a time-limited contract, and after a discussion both parties
agreed not to prolong the contract.
For the moment Bo will not be replaced by someone else, and the markets
he was in charge of will be handled by either Michael or Karsten.
In case you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to
contact us.

The market responsible persons will of course still be supported by our
staff of technicians, consisting of: Mr. Poul Erik Jespersen, Adam West,
Flemming Linders, Allan Kjeldgaard Trans, Stig Kjærgaard and Povl Larsen.
News on our website
Recently some changes on our website have been made. Among
others the front page has been changed and it gives now the visitor
vindmeew clearer information of what Flex Trim is and where to use the sanding
system and tells also shortly the benefits for the customer. æg dæ
Other changes have been made in the structure and all pictures have
been replaced with updated product pictures.
Another new thing is pictures of the employees in each department.
Database with items and technical solutions:
On our partner portal we have now established a database with references
based on items, which was suggested on our dealer seminar
as a useful tool for working out new technical solutions.
Here you will find pictures of different items from different industries and
the technical data for each solution.
You can use this as inspiration and the possibility to share your knowledge,
just as you have earlier asked for.
In that way it is also a kind of technical manual and you can see different
items that Flex Trim can be used for.
To extend that list with different items and solutions we also need you to
send us your solutions and pictures of items, that you have made
successfully sanding solutions for with Flex Trim products.
On the partner portal you will find a file with a short form to fill out with
technical data and attach a photo of the item. Send it by e-mail to
dbj@flex-trim.com and we will upload it to the partner portal.
We would also like to have your comments to this database and if you
have suggestions for changes, so that we can be able to improve it.

Flex Trim head office in Denmark.

find sanding solutions and pictures of different
items from both wood-, composite and plastic
industries.
