SOLO DUO SHOWCASE UP DATE!
Tickets are on sale at the studio. $10.00 each. Performing dancers need a ticket as well. Dancer Tickets are complementary; they are available to pick up at the office.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO ASSIST @ SOLO DUO SHOWCASE
Final preparations are being made for what is going to be an exciting show!!!
SIGN UP SHEETS are posted on the wall in the Office.
We are looking for the following helpers:
TICKET SALES: Pre Show 1:30-2:30
CONCESSION / COFFEE STATION (1:00 - 2:30 shift / intermission shift / cleanup)
BAKE SALE HELPERS: 1:00 - 2:30 setup and 1st shift. Intermission and clean up
PRE SHOW 50/50: 1:30-2:30
INTERMISSION DRAWS: approx. 3:30 for 5 minutes.
CLEAN UP & GARBAGE HELPERS (End of show x 30min)
PICTURE DAY CONFIRMED!!
ATTENTION: BAKE SALE ITEMS SHOUT OUT!! In the past participating dancers brought something of their own creation for the bake sale. We would love to taste test
again these delightful sweet treats. J
MUSIC:
Cds will need to be dropped off at the studio by February 8th.
Please write with a sharpie the dancers name and if the dancers starts = off or on clearly marked on the CD.
DANCER WARM UP CALL: Dancers in Pre Junior and Junior groups and any other younger dancers who have not
already dance that day, please be on stage at the Wheel House by 1:10. Sydney will take you through a warm up
and then we will run your groups dances for spacing and curtain exit and entrances.
STELLA DOT IS ON BOARD FOR OUR SHOWCASE. I will forward more info about viewing the product line in advance and on-line ordering.

After auditioning with many other fantastic dancers, singer and musicians, we where informed that both our groups got in.

THE VAN CITY PROJECT:
THIS PAST SATURDAY THE SHOW AT MICHAEL J.FOX THEATRE IN BURNABY CAL
SAW A WHOLE HOST OF WONDERFUL DANCERS!!
Christie Manning choreographed a group dance utilizing many senior dancers from different studios. Our Company dancer Sarah Formosa was part of this team. This
group will be performing again on Thurs. Jan. 31 st and Feb. 8 th .
Sarah Formosa and Zac Vran also performed their duo choreographed by Sherrie Scherger. Zac Vran of Freshh and Ethan Vran of Junior Groovement also entertained
the audience. There was a whole host of Spiral Grads in different Independent Choreographers pieces, including Juilia Bazso, Suzy Bazso, and Sabra Lind.
It is so exciting to see the next generation of dancers emerging on the stages in the Lower Mainland.
