The handy STIHL Quick Chain Adjuster
system helps you concentrate on your
work. After releasing the sprocket cover,
the chain can be easily adjusted without
tools via a convenient knob. Then you
can get back to work, without needless
interruptions.
Toolless Filler Cap
Found on a wide selection of STIHL
models, STIHL’s innovative cap for fuel
and oil tanks, allows for easy opening
and closing with no tools required.
Stratified
Charge Engine
The 2-stroke engine in the STIHL Cutquik ®
and a number of chain saw and trimmer
models features an advanced stratified
charge system that boosts power,
reduces fuel consumption and pollution,
thus significantly lowering unburned
hydrocarbons in the exhaust.
Long-life Air Filter
System
The unique air routing in the STIHL
long-life air filter system lessens the
burden on all the ensuing filter elements,
thus lengthening the interval for cleaning
the filter system - without any special
maintenance. This is why the service life
of filters in STIHL chain saws with air
routing is considerably longer than with
standard filter systems.
Easy2Start (E)
Easy2Start TM reduces the pulling force
required to start an engine by more than
one-half, so no more strong pulls on the
starter cord. In fact, one slow pull is
usually all that is required. This system
also eliminates the typical resistance and
jerks created by the compression of the
engine’s cylinder.
Oilomatic ® Chain
The STIHL Oilomatic chain lubrication
system reduces friction and wear and
consequently extends the service life of
the bar and chain as a whole. Chain
lubricant flows into fine oilways in the
drive links and is distributed quickly and
evenly to the chain joints and cutter faces.
