Frequently asked questions<br />

When is the l<strong>at</strong>est I can have an event<br />

9PM, if your event is Monday – S<strong>at</strong>urday.<br />

8PM if your event is on a <strong>Sun</strong>day.<br />

Your guests must be notified 30-45 minutes<br />

prior th<strong>at</strong> the event is ending or staff will notify<br />

them.<br />

Can I serve alcohol during my event<br />

Yes, but a licensed server and unarmed<br />

security are required <strong>at</strong> your expense. The<br />

server must have a current TAM card to serve<br />

<strong>at</strong> your event. Please include a copy of their ID<br />

with your final payment 3 days prior to the<br />

event. Management requires the event holder to<br />

hire unarmed security during an event if there is<br />

alcohol being served. Please include the<br />

security company contact inform<strong>at</strong>ion 3 days<br />

before event<br />

Can SCAL sign for deliveries (flowers,<br />

c<strong>at</strong>erers, linens) if I am not there<br />

No. You, or a design<strong>at</strong>ed represent<strong>at</strong>ive of your<br />

event, must be present to assume responsibility<br />

for all deliveries. An overtime fee of $50.00 per<br />

hour or per increment of an hour will be charged<br />

for events in the rental space before or after the<br />

event. This includes deliveries from an outside<br />

vendor in which facility staff will be needed.<br />

Do you provide linens<br />

No.<br />

Cleaning Deposit:<br />

A refundable cleaning deposit of $250.00 in<br />

the form of CASH ONLY is required for any<br />

event in which food and beverages will be<br />

served.<br />

There is an additional $50.00 non-refundable<br />

charge to use the kitchen facility in building<br />

7390.<br />

If there is no food and beverage being served, a<br />

cleaning deposit of $100.00 in the form of<br />

CASH ONLY is required.<br />

Loading and Unloading:<br />

All loading and unloading of decor<strong>at</strong>ions, etc. for<br />

the event must be delivered through the side<br />

entrance of the banquet room and under no<br />

circumstances are personal or business<br />

(c<strong>at</strong>ering/party rental/band, etc) vehicles to be<br />

parked on the sidewalk. Customer shall be solely<br />

responsible for and shall immedi<strong>at</strong>ely reimburse<br />

SCAL Community Associ<strong>at</strong>ion for any damage to<br />

the premises caused by anyone from their event.<br />

Frequently asked questions<br />

When is the room diagram drawing required<br />

3 days before the event, when final payment is<br />

made. We cannot accept verbal requests and the<br />

diagram drawing is the sole responsibility of the<br />

individual th<strong>at</strong> signed the contract. Should an<br />

error be made by th<strong>at</strong> person in their diagram<br />

drawing or if any other error results in last minute<br />

changes staff must make (room setup, arrival<br />

time, guest count, tables, start times, etc.), the<br />

individual could incur additional fees.<br />

Do you provide a sound system<br />

Yes but it is available on a first-come first-served<br />

basis and it is possible a homeowner event will<br />

be scheduled on th<strong>at</strong> day or th<strong>at</strong> time.
