2013 ALUMNI CRUISE TO BRITISH ISLES
The College’s 17th annual Alumni Travel-Learn Cruise sailed along the coasts of Ireland, Scotland, England,
and France on the Solstice-Class Celebrity Infinity. Toward the end of the cruise, alumni had the chance to
tour one of Scotland’s most dramatic locations, the ruins of the Urquhart Castle overlooking Loch Ness.

On the “Best of Europe” Travel-Learn Cruise, Dr. Larry Barton, PhD,
CAP ® , presented a continuing education opportunity, “Risk Management
in a New Global Economy.” Participants discussed a case study involving
the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
The cruise also featured the option of
a special pre-cruise weekend in Paris.
Participants had the opportunity to
tour the city’s famous landmarks,
like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de
Triomphe.
Trustee Mike Corey, at right, presented a CE session titled “Identifying High Impact
Talent: An Insider’s Periscope on Your Next Best Hire” during the cruise through the
