The American College LIVE Alumni Tour kicked off its 2013 run in the Miami-Ft.
Lauderdale area. Highlights included a panel discussion on “Mining Your Network.”

The second stop on the LIVE tour was Boston. This event featured a presentation from Sophia Duffy, JD, CPA,
(right) Assistant Professor of Employee Benefits, on “Planning for Families with Special Needs,” detailing how
to maximize asset accumulation while protecting government entitlements. A panel discussion offering sales
and marketing tips included, from left, Michael F. Barry, MSFS, CLU ® , ChFC ® , principal and founder of Barry
Financial, LLC; Phil Harriman, CLU ® , ChFC ® , co-founder of Lebel & Harriman, LLP; and Jules Gaudreau, ChFC ® ,
CIC, President and Owner of The Gaudreau Group. The discussion was moderated by Jennifer Borislow, CLU ®
(top right), President of Borislow Insurance, and Immediate Past President of MDRT.

The 2013 LIVE Alumni Tour made its last stop in Los Angeles. Art Kraus, CLU ® , ChFC ® , CAP ® , (left), of
Capital Intelligence Associates, provided opening remarks about The American College Alumni Association.
An active organizer of LA LIVE since its inception, Art was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame this year.
Other highlights of the 2013 LA LIVE included a panel discussion moderated by Daralee Barbera, CFP ® , CLF ®
(top right) Managing Principal, Waddell and Reed, Costa Mesa, CA and incoming president of GAMA.
