Abstract : The Coke - oven Plant of Shandong Taishan Iron & Steel Co. ,Ltd. has successfully used
the frequency converter in roots blower of the blast cooling system. This application not only stabilizes
the gas suction pressure before the primary cooler and guarantees the stability of the gas pressure in the
risers ,but also reduces the consumption of energy.
