as a public reserve as part <strong>of</strong> the new Highbrook Industrial Estate subdivision, Otara. The<br />

subdivision included the construction <strong>of</strong> an arterial road just outside <strong>of</strong> the tuff ring which<br />

separates it from the Tamaki Estuary. Sometimes called Pukekiwiriki,, local iwi restrict this<br />

name to Red Hill volcano, Papakura.<br />
