for Goura scheepmakeri EEP 1995 –1999
Age distribution (See 4.1)
The age of 40 individuals (17.0 males and 23.0 females) in the current population was known
on 31 December 1999. There were 7 male specimens and 5 female specimens of unknown
age. There was 1 unknown sex specimen of unknown age.
Current population (See 4.2)
The current population as of 31 December 1999 of the Goura scheepmakeri species consists
of 22.26.5 (Total: 53).
Number of births and deaths (See 4.3 and 4.4)
In 1995, 7 Goura scheepmakeri crowned pigeons were born and 4 died.
In 1996, 15 Goura scheepmakeri crowned pigeons were born and 12 died.
In 1997, 9 Goura scheepmakeri crowned pigeons were born and 5 died.
In 1998, 10 Goura scheepmakeri crowned pigeons were born and 11 died.
In 1999, 11 Goura scheepmakeri crowned pigeons were born and 5 died.

Known = age known
Estimated ages are based on date of arrival, thus the age at death for estimated age could be
higher. The mortality of the younger age categories in the Goura scheepmakeri population
was not very high in relation to the adult age categories. The 0-30 day group comprised 29,7
% of all deaths. This is quite high. The 5 + –10y age category is also very high, this group
comprised 32,4 % of all deaths.
Transfers, Imports and Exports (See 4.5)
13 transfers were made in 1995, 7 in 1996, 6 in 1997, 4 in 1998 and 6 in 1999.
Conlusion
During the time spent 1995 till 1999 the Goura scheepmakeri species improved considerably.
