Monitoring Plan
Three formal monitoring programs will be employed to assess
the effectiveness of the restoration project:
1) Document the natural colonization of amphibians;
including species richness, abundance, and colonization
processes within the isolated freshwater ponds;
2) Document the natural recruitment of native vegetation
within the newly created wetland communities; and,
3) Document and identify the aquatic inhabitants via seining
of the created wetland pools (estuarine and freshwater).
