Animal studies have shown that long term repeated exposure to high doses of<br />
glycols in the diet causes kidney injury.<br />
Not expected to cause respiratory irritation.<br />
No adverse effects expected, however large amounts may cause symptoms of<br />
alcohol intoxication including dizziness, nausea, vomiting, progressing to<br />
cyanosis, headache, pulmonary oedema, muscle tenderness, stupor and<br />
convulsions.<br />
Will have a degreasing action on the skin.<br />
Contact with skin may result in irritation. Will have a degreasing action on<br />
the skin. Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to irritant contact<br />
dermatitis.<br />
May be an eye irritant.<br />
Inhalation Remove victim from exposure - avoid becoming a casualty.<br />
Remove contaminated clothing and loosen remaining clothing.<br />
Allow patient to assume most comfortable position and keep warm. Keep at<br />
rest until fully recovered.<br />

Ingestion Rinse mouth thoroughly with water immediately.Give plenty of water to drink.<br />
If vomiting occurs, give further water. Seek medical assistance.<br />
Skin Wash with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before<br />

Eye Immediately irrigate with copious quantities of water for at least 15<br />
minutes. Eyelids to be held open.<br />
In all cases of eye contamination it is a sensible precaution to seek<br />
