screening processes as well as the increase of the wild
species are very time consuming. Because the process
is so time consuming, there needs to be open and
active cooperation at the laboratory, state, national,
and international levels to get the most benefit from
research with the wild species. More benefits from
wild Pennisetum species research will result from
cooperative work.
