Winter/Spring 2013 - Enriched For Life Just For Kids: Just For Kids: Homeschooler After Hours Happenings Programs All Kinds Of Art Have your child (ages 6 and older) join the adventure with all kinds of art. Using watercolor and acrylic paints, oil and chalk pastels, ink and more, instructor Penny Clark will expose your child to many art experiences that let your child’s imagination and interest inspire his/her projects. Enriched For Life - Winter/Spring 2013 Just For Kids: At My School Programs “At My School Programs” are held right after school at the specified building. They offer school-age children the opportunity to attend an activity that supplements the regular school curriculum. (Your child does not have to attend the school in which the program is located, however, you will be responsible for providing transportation to and from the class.) Young Rembrandts Session 1 Make this a memorable winter by signing up your elementary child in a Young Rembrandts drawing class. Your child will learn basic design and composition as they draw a boot still life and a detailed armadillo. More refined and technical drawing techniques will be explorered as our students draw Henry Ford’s historical Model-T automobile. Besides strengthening your child’s drawing and coloring skills, he or she will learn art history as we present lessons featuring master artists Leonardo Da Vinci and Franz Marc. If your student loves nature and insects, he or she will love our stylized bee graphic. But if it’s the thrill of the speedway that excites your child, our race car illustration will leave all competition in its dust. Our students will also explore the Far East as they draw the Great Wall of China. And it’s time to hit the waves as we illustrate a surfer.
