Crocs-Green/Black
Ages 8-12
This group covers basic swimming endurance,
swimming speed change, and aerobic development.
Swimming technique is expanded. These swimmers
are expected to have learned all four racing strokes and
are now aimed at increasing both technical work and
training. IM training and advancement is developed.
IMR events at meets and advancement to IMX events
are the focus. Swimmers in this group are building
to get an IMX score. (Swimmers new to PAC need
to meet with a coach to determine placement.

contact Coach Parker.)
Commitment: Crocs/Green should practice a
minimum of 3 days a week for 1-1/4 hours. Crocs/
Black should practice a minimum of 4 days a week for
1-1/2 hours. As the swimmers progress, they should
be in the water consistently 5-6 times per week.

Senior Crocs-Green/Black
Ages 13 and up
As swimmers enter this group, training will become
increasingly specialized. They will begin to train in
their primary strokes several times a week. They will
be tested to develop paces for their specific level of
training. This will allow grouping with others who
share the same paces to provide a competitive training
atmosphere. In general, there will be a distance
group, a middle distance group, and lanes designated
to specific strokes. (Swimmers new to PAC need
to meet with a coach to determine placement.
Previous swimmers that are unsure of placement,
contact Coach Parker.)
Commitment: Senior Crocs/Green-Swimmers are
expected to be at a minimum of 4 practices a week
and may participate in up to as many as 7. Swimmers
wanting to compete in meets that are at the National
level may NOT miss more than 2 consecutive
practices without permission unless there is illness.
(Morning dryland is optional and will be discounted
if swimmer is not participating.) Senior Crocs/Black-
If participating in a national meet, 100% practice
attendance is required.
