This two and half day course for pathologists seeks
to highlight the role of immunohistochemistry in
routine oncopathology practice with a focus on
immunohistochemical evaluation of common
tumors.
Day 1(29th April 2011 - Friday): Demonstration of
Immunohistochemistry techniques.
Registrations limited to 40 participants only.
Venue: Dept of Pathology, 8th floor, Annex building,
Tata Memorial Hospital.
Day 2 (30th April 2011- Saturday): Lectures on
overview on immunohistochemical evaluation of
tumors.
Venue: Chokshi Auditorium, 2nd floor G J Block,
Tata Memorial Hospital.
Day 3 (1st May 2011- Sunday): H&E and
corresponding immunohistochemistry glass slide
viewing session of 50-60 cases covering topics
discussed on Day 2.
Registrations limited to 65 participants only.
Participants need to bring their own microscopes.
Microscopes will not be provided by the organisers.
Venue: 4th Floor, G J Block, Tata Memorial Hospital.
Applicants who could not be accomodated in the
previous IHC workshop in 2010 will be given
preference
