How do I pay my rent
Soon after you have signed your tenancy agreement, a rent payment card will be posted out to you. This will
enable you to pay your rent in any Post Office countrywide. You may also use it to pay in retail outlets that have the
PostPoint or Paypoint facility. Payments may also be paid in the Cash Office in the Civic Offices.
Tenants in receipt of some categories of Social Welfare benefits can arrange to have their rents deducted at source
from their weekly payment through the Household Budget Scheme. For more information call 222 2217.
If you wish to check your account balance or discuss your weekly rent charge you may call to the Rents & Tenant
Purchase Section on the Ground Floor, Block 1 in the Civic Offices. You may also telephone our FreeFone no.
1800 679 555 or tel. no. 222 2211.
What to do in difficulty
If your account is in arrears you may discuss this with an Executive Housing Officer in the Arrears Management
Unit. The North city no. is 222 2140.
