Using CompactFlash Cards<br />

The <strong>WireScope</strong> <strong>350</strong> can use CompactFlash cards for storing large<br />

amounts of test data, for transferring data to a PC, and for installing new<br />

software.<br />

Installing CompactFlash Cards<br />

To install a CompactFlash card:<br />

1 Find the CompactFlash card slot in the bottom of the <strong>WireScope</strong><br />

<strong>350</strong>. See CompactFlash Slot, on page 1-3, for the location of the<br />

slot.<br />

2 Insert the CompactFlash card into the slot.(If the card does not go<br />

in easily, make sure it is oriented correctly with the lip on the<br />

bottom.)<br />

3 The <strong>WireScope</strong> <strong>de</strong>tects the card, and asks if you want to configure the<br />

card.<br />

Configuring CompactFlash Cards<br />

When a CompactFlash card is inserted in the <strong>WireScope</strong> <strong>350</strong>, the tester<br />

<strong>de</strong>tects it and displays a window asking if you want to configure the<br />

card.<br />

To configure an installed CompactFlash card:<br />

1 Insert the card in the slot at the bottom of the <strong>WireScope</strong>. The<br />

Storage window opens.
