Link SmartProbes connect to the customer’s wall plate and<br />
telecommunications panel jacks. The <strong>WireScope</strong> software compensates<br />
for the probe’s transmission characteristics so they do not affect test<br />
results. A counter built in to the probe lets the <strong>WireScope</strong> issue a<br />
warning when the probe nears the end of its normal useful life.<br />
Channel SmartProbes connect to the customer’s patch cords at the wall<br />
plate and telecommunications panel. The <strong>WireScope</strong> software<br />
compensates for the probe’s transmission characteristics so they do not<br />
affect test results. A counter built in to the probe lets the <strong>WireScope</strong><br />
issue a warning when the probe nears the end of its useful life.<br />
