Memory Requirements<br />

The amount of memory that each test result takes up <strong>de</strong>pends on the<br />
options that you set before starting the test. Generally, if you save plots<br />
with each test, test result files are larger than if you omit plots. When you<br />
save plots, the size of the result file <strong>de</strong>pends on the maximum frequency<br />
selected, and on how many additional measurements each autotest<br />
inclu<strong>de</strong>s.<br />
The <strong>WireScope</strong> <strong>350</strong> allocates approximately 4MB of internal Flash<br />
memory for test result storage. The exact amount of memory available<br />
<strong>de</strong>pends on the size of the <strong>WireScope</strong> <strong>350</strong> software.<br />
The following table lists approximate record storage capacities for the<br />
internal Flash memory when configured for 4MB and for a 32 MB<br />
removable CompactFlash card and for comparison, a 192 MB card. All<br />
sizes of CompactFlash will work as extra storage.<br />
