e) approach the service, management or sponsor with any
grievance or complaint against the service and to have this
complaint managed effectively, sensitively and confidentially;
f) ensure that information provided by themselves relating to
their children is kept confidential.
Children have the right to:
a) be involved in any decision regarding themselves to the
level to which they are competent and comfortable;
b) have their needs and wishes acknowledged and incorporated
into the daily program of the service;
c) make complaints and to have all complaints managed effectively,
sensitively and confidentially;
d) know and understand policies and procedures affecting the
care they are receiving.
